Dr. Yashica Shah is a New Jersey native and has received numerous Golden Apple Awards for excellence in teaching, and received additional awards and recognition for her work in performing and analyzing ultrasound imaging.
Her research, “Retrospective Review of Anesthetic Technique and Their Effects on Neonatal Outcome,” was accepted by the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine in 2003. She interned at the Harvard-M.I.T., Division of Health Sciences and Technologies (at Massachusetts General Hospital Dept. of Biological Engineering), as well as the University of Pennsylvania Dept. of Radiology. Dr. Shah has been invited to teach continuing medical education to nursing staff. She has also given seminars in the community on prevention of cancer, breast exams, menopause management, and other women’s health issues. Dr. Shah has also been seen on The Learning Channel (TLC) and has made television appearances on the popular show, A Baby Story.
Dr. Shah has been married for many years and both she and her husband are proud parents of two wonderful children. During Dr Shah’s free time, she enjoys cooking, skiing, and attending her children’s activities. Her favorite thing to do is vacationing to different countries with her family.

In 2005, Dr. Diana Huang received her Bachelor’s Degree from Barnard College-Columbia University, graduating magna cum laude. In 2009, Dr. Huang pursued her Medical Degree from SUNY-Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Education, where she received the Cylde L. Randall Society Award in Gynecology-Obstetrics for Academic Excellence. In 2013, Dr. Huang completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency from Beth Israel Medical Center, where she was honored as Chief Resident. She also received the Resident Research Award and the AAGL Resident Award in Minimally Invasive Surgery during her chief year. Dr. Huang’s peer reviewed research paper, “Tuberculosis peritonitis presenting as acute abdomen: a case report” is published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Huang has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and is a breastfeeding advocate. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Elana Grann received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey In 2006. She then completed her nursing degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Rutgers University in 2008. During this time, Elana served as a charge nurse on a surgical floor, where she was awarded Medical-Surgical Nurse of the Year. She later returned to Rutgers University to pursue a Master’s degree in nursing, specializing in women’s health. In 2012, Elana received her NCC certification as a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in April of 2012.
Dr. Shafiq completed her undergraduate studies at The College of New Jersey. She later received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Shafiq then moved to Dayton, Ohio for her first year of Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at Wright State University.
After her first year of residency, Dr. Shafiq transferred to and completed her residency at Monmouth Medical Center’s Obstetrics & Gynecology program in Long Branch, NJ. During her fourth year of residency, Dr. Shafiq served as administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Shafiq is fluent in Urdu.
Elizabeth Colaiocco is a Board Certified Advanced Practice Nurse, specializing in women’s health. She has both a Master’s of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification from Wagner College. During this time, Elizabeth received the Highest Academic Distinction Award and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, an International Honor Society for Nursing.
Elizabeth has worked in gynecology for more than 10 years and is experienced in contraception, menopause, obstetrics and preventive gynecological exams. She possesses expertise in breast cancer risk assessment and in the development of a customized treatment plan for women with a personal and/or family history of hereditary cancer syndromes. Elizabeth is trained in Nexplanon insertions/removals, serves as a lactation consultant and specializes in breast feeding.
Savita Sukha is a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. In 2015, she graduated magna cum laude from Boston College, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. During this time, she served as an Undergraduate Research Fellow, Health Coach for the Office of Health Promotion, and a nursing scholar in the Keys to Inclusive Leadership in Nursing (KILN) program. Savita received KILN’s Key Award for noteworthy scholarship, and was also inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International, the Honor Society of Nursing.
During her undergraduate synthesis rotation at Department of Public Health’s National Sexual Assault TeleNursing Center, Savita developed a strong passion for combating issues that affect the sexual health and general wellbeing of women. To pursue a career that allows her to care for women across the lifespan, Savita attended University of Pennsylvania’s Women’s Health/Gender-Related Nurse Practitioner program, earning her Master of Science in Nursing. Savita also served many executive board positions at Penn, where she competed in a health tech start-up competition, and organized charity events and health fairs for Philadelphia’s local community.
