About Wingkan Sbar, MD

Dr. Wingkan Sbar earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, after
which she practiced for several years in a busy OB/GYN group just outside of Philadelphia.

Originally from Hong Kong, Dr. Sbar is fluent in Cantonese and brings a global perspective to her care, having also lived in London for two years. Her diverse background enriches her ability to connect with patients of all cultures and life experiences.

Dr. Sbar provides compassionate, comprehensive care to women at every stage of life. Her expertise includes prenatal and pregnancy care, preventive women’s health, and gynecologic surgery. Known for her warm and energetic personality, she strives to make
every patient feel comfortable, heard, and supported.

She currently lives in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, with her husband and three sons. In her free time, Dr. Sbar enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with her family.
