Dr. Celeste Azevedo joined Morristown OB/GYN in 2022. She received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, graduate degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed her residency in OB/GYN at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She is certified as a da Vinci robotic surgeon. She enjoys taking care of women of all ages. Born and raised in NJ, outside of work she enjoys spending time with her friends and family in the Tri-state area.

Dr. Acevedo puts the patient at ease with her knowledge, expertise, kindness, patience and professionalism. I did not feel rushed. I feel that she took her time to explain things to me and waited to make sure I understood everything. This was my first experience with Dr. Acevedo as my previous OB-GYN has just retired.

Dr Celeste was very patient . She answered all my questions and concerns. She made me feel very comfortable & confident. I get very nervous and my BP is always elevated at appointments. This was prior to me meeting her. I know next year when I schedule with her I’ll be calm and relaxed as she reassured me upon reviewing my chart and current wellness. Even though I go annually for my women’s health , have my grown children and now grandchildren I find I’m more nervous because I want to remain healthy. I left the office feeling happy and proud of myself.

Dr. Azevedo did an amazing job helping bring my baby into this world. She believed in me when I didn't know if I could really do it and when it got really hard.
