I chose this field because OB/GYNs can offer both surgical care and primary care, forming long-term relationships with patients and caring for them during life-changing events. I enjoy the satisfaction of helping patients through happy occasions such as pregnancies as well as more difficult situations. My hope is to give patients the knowledge and peace of mind that they are being well cared-for and the information they need to understand their medical conditions and treatment options. I want patients to know that they are being heard without feeling embarrassed or judged.
