Dr. Roman received her B.S. degree from the University of Massachusetts- Amherst in Exercise Physiology. Showing a profound love for philanthropy, she continued on to receive her Doctorate in Medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine- Georgia Campus, graduating with high honors in 2009. As one of four daughters from a close-knit family, Dr. Roman selected residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Monmouth Medical Center. Trained in minimally invasive surgery and certified in Robotic surgery are but two of Dr. Roman’s accolades in the medical field. She is currently an attending physician at Monmouth Medical Center, excelling as one of the prominent members of the teaching faculty for the OBGYN residents and medical students. When Dr. Roman is not caring for her patients she partners with her husband to provide loving care to her two children.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Roman. She provides the most exceptional, compassionate, and holistic care I’ve ever experienced. I genuinely love her and feel so grateful to have her as my gynecologist. She truly cares for her patients and always takes the time to actively listen to all of my concerns. Dr. Roman never rushes through appointments; instead, she addresses every single question I have, educating me clearly about my conditions and ensuring I understand her explanations. She always provides a clear treatment plan, which makes me feel confident and reassured. Several years ago, when I was extremely ill, Dr. Roman saved my life. She performed emergency surgery on me and kept a close eye on my recovery. Thanks to her skill, dedication, and attentiveness, I started feeling so much better and was able to return to my daily activities much sooner than I ever imagined. Dr. Roman has the kindest heart and the best bedside manner I’ve ever encountered. She is truly a remarkable doctor who goes above and beyond for her patients. I did not have to wait very long before the appointment. Dr Roman gives amazing, personal, focused care. When you are in there with her, it’s only about you. She gives me respect like almost no other doctor ever has… and I’ve been seeing women’s care doctors for almost 50 years now. My daughters and daughter in laws go there, too.
