Dr. Roman received her B.S. degree from the University of Massachusetts- Amherst in Exercise Physiology. Showing a profound love for philanthropy, she continued on to receive her Doctorate in Medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine- Georgia Campus, graduating with high honors in 2009. As one of four daughters from a close-knit family, Dr. Roman selected residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Monmouth Medical Center. Trained in minimally invasive surgery and certified in Robotic surgery are but two of Dr. Roman’s accolades in the medical field. She is currently an attending physician at Monmouth Medical Center, excelling as one of the prominent members of the teaching faculty for the OBGYN residents and medical students. When Dr. Roman is not caring for her patients she partners with her husband to provide loving care to her two children.

Although my delivery was complicated and Dr. Tal was the one who delivered my baby Dr. Roman knew all about it and was able to guide me on best recovery. Ultrasound

I had a PVR ultrasound visit scheduled. I arrived 20 minutes early for my 12:10p appointment. At 12:45p, I advised the person at the front desk that I had been there for almost an hour and needed to wait to have the first scan before I urinated and they told me I was next. I knew that I’d have to reschedule if I went to the bathroom, so I waited. I wasn’t called in until 1p. I understand that the office is busy and I’d have to wait a bit, but it was inconsiderate to be told to come to the office with a “normal to full bladder” and have to wait 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment time for something that took a total of 10 minutes, including the time I voided in between scans.
