Dr O'Brien is my physician for years and I am very happy with her and her way of practicing medicine. This past visit the office staff was way different and not so great. Not one staff member, except for the usual women on the way out that check out your visit were pleasant. I understand the need for bilingual services, however I am not comfortable with this when they clearly know that I am an English speaking patient and they are speaking to each other right in front of me as if I was not even there. It is rude and unacceptable. There is a need for communication services in all business setting but it is getting taken to another level and offices need to be mindful of its overuse and the discomfort it places on others. The other issue I had is the medical assistant was quiet and not too friendly, which is fine but she did not have gloves on while preparing my testing materials for the Pap smear which at the time I did not say anything but in hindsight it is not something I was and am comfortable with. Hopefully there is no issue with the test results and cross contamination on the materials as I know they could be sensitive.

Have been with this Group as my OB GYN docs since the 1980s. Have also worked with these Physicians in SDS at Valley Hospital. They have always been professional & great to work with! My 2 Children were delivered by Dr Nickles & Dr Russo years ago. Office staff all friendly , professional & efficient. I arrived 910 for a 930 appt. There were 6 people in the waiting area. I was taken into a room by 935 & Dr O'Brien saw me shortly after. She asked about my concerns & addressed them. I left by 10am. This was only my 2nd visit with Dr O ‘Brien & it was a positive experience. I was present when she delivered my daughter’s 2nd child. She provided great care. I continue to come up from Delaware to see them. I would highly recommend this group.

Office Visit / Follow-up

Definitely satisfied with the level of care provided by Drs. Obrien and Russo Sometime staff, particularly when booking appointments, seemed inconvenienced if I wanted to book out beyond may next 2 appointments. As someone who works full time, it was important to me to be able to schedule in advance, but scheduler seemed annoyed by this and would only book out next 2 appointments. This often resulted in me getting appointment times that didn't work for my schedule and created a lot of unnecessary stress. Also, sometimes reports of lab results were quite delayed. Was grateful for the transition to labcorp so that I could view my own results. However, never received results for any of my urine tests. In fact, didn't know what exactly was being tested in my urine and was surprised to hear that a full urinalysis was not being performed (e.g. not checking for bacteriuria; only for presence of protein and glucose).
