Dr. Bewtra grew up in Maryland and graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. She then attended Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, receiving her Medical Degree in 1997.

She returned to the East Coast and completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Downtown Hospital in New York City. For her work, she received the Berlex Best Teaching Resident Award. Dr. Bewtra has been in private practice in Bergen County, New Jersey for over 14 years and is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Her interest in women’s health beyond the strict purview of an OB-GYN began at a young age and has since carried over into her practice. She now provides care for women of all ages, including issues pertaining to contraceptive counseling, pregnancy, cervical health, menopause, and preventive medicine.

Dr. Bewtra is married and has three children, a boy and fraternal twins (boy & girl).

From the check-in to meeting the my nurse I was treated very professionally and more importantly very kind. I have difficulty now at times trying to walk and trying to get up on the table I'm sorry to say Andy was great helping me with that. Dr butra is my all-time favorite position. She is very professional and listen to my concerns which was a lump in my right breast and she made me feel after the exam that hopefully there's nothing to worry about. Her team supports her 10 100%
