Dr. Hunt joined the practice in September of 2006. After graduating from Princeton University, she attended medical school at New York University and then completed her residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She returned to New Jersey after a short career in private practice in Manhattan and then one year in Vail, Colorado. Having grown up in Mendham, she feels like she if finally back home.

Gynecological Exams

The physician, Dr. Hunt, performed the exam and advised me as to what the overall problem was. She answered all my questions and provided me with a prescription for the medication I needed. She stated if the medication did not work in the amount of time expected that I should return for another visit. Very pleasant and very professional.

Reception attitude was bad. First she said I was late more than 15 min. But I was within 15 gray period. Then she asked for insurance ID. I said I dont have physical copy. I also told her I did not change insurance. She should be able to found it in the system. Then she said they have a new system did not transfer info. When the nurse called me. She told the nurse that I don't have insurance, so I cannot be seen. I felt upset because what she said was not true. The system issue is the office’s responsibility, not patient’s fault. I ended up email her my digital insurance card. However, the experience was bad. I am a patient in this office for more than 8 years. Disappointed!

I usually don't see Dr Hunt but she was available and I wanted to get it scheduled so I went with her. Seemed so phony and insincere. Also I wondered if it was a complete exam as it was so fast? Maybe about time for her to retire if she's not so into clinical care any more??
