Shawn joined Advanced Women’s Care of Springfield in September 2011. Her passion for women’s health began as a volunteer at a community women’s health clinic in the late 1980’s. She became an RN, graduating from New York University. In order to pursue her goal of becoming a certified nurse midwife, she attended Columbia University and received her masters degree there. Over the past 22 years, Shawn had worked in many practices, mostly in NYC where she is originally from. She is extremely happy to add midwifery to the excellent care provided by the doctors in this practice.
