About John Scian, MD
After completing his OB/GYN residency in 1987 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, Dr. John Scian joined his brother, Dr. Joseph Scian, in private practice. He maintains a strong interest in providing high-quality compassionate care and especially enjoys the long-term patient relationship. “It’s a privilege to be entrusted with a patient’s care over the course of her lifetime.” Dr. Scian offers expert pregnancy care including treatment for high-risk patients, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, treatment of abnormal pap smears, and routine gynecologic care. He has served 4 years as Chair of the Department of OB/GYN at Chilton Medical Center and currently he is Vice President of the Chilton Medical Staff. Dr. Scian has served in a variety of leadership roles at Chilton Medical Center, including past Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He currently serves as President of the Medical-Dental Staff of Chilton Medical Center and is a member of the Atlantic Health System’s Board of Trustees and the Chilton Advisory Board.
