The Benefits of In-Office Procedures

In-office procedures are a safe and efficient alternative to hospital-based surgery. When your care is delivered in-office, you benefit from:

Continuity of care

Your procedure is performed by your own provider, who knows your medical history and personal health goals.

Fewer logistics

No need to navigate hospital systems or long check-in processes or scheduling delays.

Shorter recovery times

Minimally invasive procedures typically allow you to go home the same day and return to your normal activities sooner when your provider determines it’s safe to do so.

In-Office Procedures We Offer

We provide several procedures in-office, including, but not limited to:

Hysteroscopy

This procedure allows your provider to look inside your uterus using a thin, lighted tube. It’s commonly used to diagnose or treat abnormal bleeding, remove polyps or fibroids, or investigate fertility concerns.

Endometrial Ablation

For women who experience heavy or prolonged periods endometrial ablation removes the thin lining of the uterus to reduce or stop menstrual bleeding.

Endometriosis

Dilation and Curettage (D&C)

A D&C involves gently removing tissue from the inside of the uterus. It may be recommended for diagnostic purposes or to manage abnormal bleeding, incomplete miscarriage, or other uterine conditions.

Is In-Office Surgery Right for Me?

Your provider will assess your condition, overall health, and treatment goals to determine if an in-office procedure is the right approach. Many women are surprised to learn that several common procedures can now be completed in a more convenient outpatient setting.

We’re committed to value-based women’s healthcare, which means offering the most effective, evidence-based treatments while minimizing disruption to your life.
