About RWJ Obstetrics & Gynecology
RWJ Ob-Gyn Associates, P.A. evolved from the Obstetrics and Gynecology Faculty Practice at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Situated in the Academic Health Science Center in New Brunswick since 1983, the practice has steadily grown and branched out from its base to serve a wide geographic community in the central New Jersey counties of Middlesex, Mercer, Somerset, Monmouth and Ocean.
True to its academic roots, the group has flourished, maintaining strong connections to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick and its namesake medical school where the group’s physician-members maintain academic appointments, actively participating in the education of successive generations of obstetrician/gynecologists.
While continuously striving to incorporate new ideas, techniques and technologies, the group cherishes its commitment to patient autonomy and the individualization of medical care. It is this philosophical context which has guided the group’s provision of medical care, and will continue to do so into the future.
