Gynecological Problem Visit
Kim listened to me explain my symptoms, examined me and did vaginal swab to send to lab, asked me for urine sample to send to lab, and prescribed antifungal cream with steroid to relieve symptoms. Lab results came back a day early and Kim was not in that day so I left a message for Dr Khalil. Dr Khalil called me back right away to discuss lab results (all negative) and prescribed an estrogen cream with detailed instructions for use in addition to the antifungal cream Kim prescribed and asked me to follow up with her office in 6-8 weeks. I told her I also wanted to see a urologist and she recommended I see a urogynecologist to address my issues and gave me the names of 2 doctors.
