Rahab Khalil, MD, founded Women’s Medical Connection in 2005 to provide personalized obstetrics and gynecological care to the women in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Dr. Khalil began her premedical and graduate medical education at Cairo University’s School of Medicine in Egypt where she obtained her bachelor’s of medicine and surgery degrees. Upon completion, Dr. Khalil moved to Newark, New Jersey where she continued her medical training in general surgery, obstetrics, and gynecology at Newark Beth Israel and Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch where she was chief resident.

After finishing her residency, Dr. Khalil opened Women’s Medical Connection to provide comprehensive medical care for women in all stages of life from adolescence through post-menopause. At her clinic, women can find services that address all of their unique healthcare needs from gynecological issues or pregnancy and obstetric care to hormonal changes associated with menopause. To help women look and feel their best, Dr. Khalil also offers weight-loss support and aesthetic services like chemical peels, Botox®, and Juvederm®.

In addition to being an experienced OB/GYN, Dr. Khalil also has training in both critical care research and surgery. She’s dedicated her career to bringing high-quality, efficient healthcare to the women in Monmouth County, including innovative vaginal rejuvenation therapies like SeleneTouch® and robot-assisted surgical technologies that provide minimally invasive treatment options.

Dr. Khalil is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Medical Association, a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a fellow of the American College of OB/GYN. She’s fluent in English and Arabic and conversational in Spanish. When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Khalil enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.

The doctor was extremely nice and helpful when I was talking to her, but hasn’t viewed my lab results yet. I had to figure out I was pregnant on my own and see planned parenthood for an abortion. I called the office and even messaged the doctor through the portal the day I got the lab results and it’s been over 4 days with no follow up from her. Very disappointing.

Very happy with the entire staff start to finish, but I have to say this visit was a bit different. As soon as I got into the building I smelled a strong odor I couldn't place and thought to myself it would be a septic issue. As soon as I walked into the office, it hit me like a ton of bricks and smelled like someone was cooking Brussel Sprouts, and it was quite pungent and off putting because it was so incredible strong!

There were 2 receptionists, I stood in front of one and she totally ignored me as she tried to do something on her computer. I get it, you have a task, but acknowledge the patient standing there, say be with you in a minute...something!! The other woman however was very sweet and helpful
