Vanessa was knowledgeable, spent time to explain everything and to review my chart as Dr Hirsch, who I have seen for the last 20+ years, is now retired and this is the 1st time she was seeing me. I gave her a 4 rather than a 5, not because of anything lacking on her part but because Dr Hirsch was more thorough with his exams, taking blood work and urine samples, recommending the office I go to for a colonoscopy and giving me all of the information I needed for it. Last year he found nodules on my thyroid and sent me for an ultrasound and then an endocrinologist. It seems that in general the scope of the exams is less comprehensive than in the past and you have your reasons for that. It was just different than what I had in the past.

Menopause Symptom Support

Dr. Vanessa Valarezo is a great doctor. I had not seen her since 2021 and she took her time to examine me fully, explain and recommend solutions and to be reassuring. I regret wasting years with a condescending Morristown OBGYN who refused to give me a Pap smear (claiming falsely that my insurance wouldn’t cover it) and did not use a speculum or visually check my cervix during a well exam. It is definitely worth it to drive farther from home to see Dr. Valarezo, I felt fully examined and fully heard. Additionally, Dr. Valarezo has a very nice bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr. Valarezo!
