Maya Reuven, DO

Dr. Maya Reuven was born and raised in West Orange, NJ. Dr. Reuven attended University of Maryland at College Park where she was a teaching assistant for Human Anatomy and Physiology and graduated with honors with a BS in General Biology. She then attended Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine for Medical School in Blacksburg, VA, where she earned a spot in the national academic honors society for top GPA as well as helped develop her school’s chapter in the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She then completed a preliminary internship in General Surgery at Brookdale University Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and went on to complete her formal residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. During her time there, she was awarded the Resident Research Award for her research in breast symptoms after pregnancy loss, as well as, served as Chief Academic Resident in her final year. Dr. Reuven is very passionate about Obstetrics and Gynecology and is excited to join RWJ OB/GYN Associates.
Dr. Reuven currently enjoys living in Asbury Park , NJ with her partner Craig and her dog Caleb.
