Dr. Craig B. Wiener is a senior attending physician at Hackensack University Medical Center and Hackensack Meridian Health at Pascack Valley Medical Center. As a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, he mentors current medical students. Additionally, Dr. Wiener is a Clinical Affiliate for the Monmouth University Physician Assistant program and can often be seen sharing his passion for applying evidence-based medicine and cutting edge technology with a student from one of these programs.

He graduated from Columbia University followed by Rutgers University in 1988 with his medical degree. Dr. Wiener completed his residency program at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Some of his training and interests include minimally invasive surgery for dysfunctional uterine bleeding, advanced vaginal reconstruction including mesh, laparoscopic surgery, da Vinci robotic surgery, advanced training on labiaplasty, multiple treatment options for incontinence and pelvic dysfunction, infertility, high-risk obstetrics, and treatment for menopause with bio-identical hormones as well as routine well-woman care.

Dr. Wiener is a certified proctor for NovaSure and is skilled in all uterine ablation techniques. He is Board-Certified and recertifies annually to maintain state-of-the-art medical practices. Over his thirty-plus years of practicing medicine he has acquired a wealth of valuable experience and is honored to continue to share it with his patients. He’s happy to share his knowledge and encourages patients to proactively take charge of their health through a multi-disciplinary approach to anti-aging and wellness goals.

Gynecological Exams

I understand that my appointment was rescheduled due to a delivery that Dr. Wiener had to leave for earlier in the day. However, my appointment time was 4:40 and I wasn’t seen until 45 minutes later. If the doctor is running behind, patients should be given the option to leave and come back, or I could’ve sat and worked in my car where I have Internet. There is no Internet in this office for the patients to use.

I have been with Dr. Wiener over 35 plus years. Dr. Weiner had been the same since I started going to him awesome Doctor. I will recommend him to anyone that needs a GYN doctor. Dr. Wiener & his Dad delivered my daughter. And now my daughter is his patient. Last year my insurance company told me that I cannot go to him anymore not in network. I was so upset. I told Dr. Wiener that you not in network with my insurance. He said it will be alright. We will fix this problem and he did. Awesome Dr. As long he’s in business and my insurance has him in network. I will be his patient.

This was my second visit to the office. I was very pleased on my first visit, but this time highly disappointed. Fist of all took me a very long time to get this appointment not for availability, but because every time I called I was put on hold and after 5 to 6 mins waiting I had to hang up. When I finally got the appointment I showed 20 mins early to my appointment which I understand that other people were before me, but 3 people showed up after me and where taken before me. When I asked the front desk person why, she told me that one of the patient had an appointment before me. Didn’t understand why the other 2 also went before me. I ended up leaving and not seeing the Dr. Dr Weiner and the RN were very nice on my first visit but this office need to make the scheduled better.
