Why do you need family planning healthcare services?

About half of the pregnancies in the US each year are unintended. When you are better prepared for your pregnancy mentally and physically, you and your baby can get the quality preconception and prenatal care you both need to keep everyone safe and healthy.

Pregnancy spacing is another important aspect of family planning that a physician can help you plan. It’s recommended that pregnancies are spaced at least 18 months apart. Depending on your situation, you may need to, or want to, space your pregnancies even further apart.

If you have decided you do not want to have children, a professional healthcare provider will guide you through your options for birth control. Childbirth / Labor & Delivery

Dr Kapoor was unbelievable. I had a rough birth and the surgery was not what was supposed to be or what was planned/expected throughout the pregnancy. I was so worried that my incision was irritated/infected that I called that morning and got in at 3pm. I was 3 days postpartum, very worried, and frustrated at the situation as well. Dr Kapoor listened, offered so much helpful advice, and overall gave me everything I needed and more. I am so so grateful.

Hysterectomy

Dr. Shaw is thorough and took the time to explain my treatment and symptoms . She is a brilliant surgeon and caring doctor.

Prescription Medication / Rx Refill

I always enjoy my time with my practitioner. This visit had the added bonus of minimal wait times, both in the waiting room and the examination room.

Dr. Jones is so caring and understanding. She made me feel heard and addressed my concerns. At my last visit with Dr. Kapoor I felt dismissed so this was good to get someone to listen. She fixed my issue and truly impacted my daily life by listening to me and making a fix.

Fertility Evaluation / Treatment

Talking to Lauren felt comfortable, she was a wealth of knowledge, and she was very accepting of my thoughts and feelings. Trying to conceive is a sensitive topic and Lauren really helped me feel like I had options for the next steps I need to take.

Dr Apel took her time with me and made me feel important even though she had had a busy morning. I appreciate that so much!
