Gynecological Exams

It’s rare these days to have a medical professional make you feel like you’re being listened to , that they have time for you, and they care. I’m. I am not being critical of med profession - I understand. However Elana really took the time to ask - offer suggestions - etc. unfortunately I was in a hurry to get back to work - but on the way home was wishing that hadn’t been the case because I was working with someone who really cares ! I look forward to future visits with her and I hope this feedback is shared with her as well.

Office Visit / Follow-up

I started HRT in September and this was my follow up visit. Elana Is a trusted provider, who has guided me in my healthcare for many years. She is proactive in learning about the many different ways to help her patients as they age and go through menopause. She listens and advises, and I am so grateful for the help she has given me. My terrible menopause symptoms are all but alleviated with her guidance.

As women, we know how difficult it is to find a gynecologist that we can trust and feel comfortable with (at least it's very difficult for me) after the pandemic we moved and I had to find a new doctor. I found Elana by luck, just looking for a GYN in the area, I decided to take the chance, I went for my Annual Woman Exam for the first time there and I left the office super happy, she is so professional but also incredibly kind and open to conversation, my doubts and concerns. It's been a long time since I found a doctor who cared about me as a person and not just another case or insurance number! I went for the second time after a little more than a year since my first visit, and how nice of her to review all the notes about our last conversation, instead of asking me everything all over again, that shows that she really cares! That’s how I felt. She listened to me, analyzed everything with me, advised me and prescribed what I needed. Finally a human doctor! One of those doctors that you would recommend to your sisters, mothers and best friends!
