The following are the most frequently asked questions we receive across the Lifeline Medical Associates network of practices. Whether you are a potential, new or existing patient, we strive to listen to your needs and answer any questions that you may have.

Lifeline Medical Associates is an exceptional network of over 100 physicians, nurse practitioners and certified nurse midwives, who collectively strive to set a new standard for women’s care. What you should expect depends upon the reason for your visit. It could be the first time you seek gynecologic care, the discovery you are newly pregnant, the need to address pelvic health issues or the desire to find a new provider after just moving into the area. Regardless of why you are coming to Lifeline Medical Associates, what you should always expect is to feel welcomed in a warm manner, feel comfortable in any area of our facility or office, and feel you have received the respect and attention you deserve. We will prepare you as much as possible before you arrive, so that from the moment you step through our doors to the time you leave, you are confident that you are receiving the best care possible.

Lifeline care centers accept a long list of insurances and we are continuously working with insurance payers to offer the best rates possible. Affordability and accessibility to superior healthcare is what drives these efforts.

Each Lifeline care center has a complete list of accepted insurance plans specific to the services they provide. Please contact your care center to confirm your insurance eligibility and ask any questions.

Yes, Lifeline Medical partners with NextGen to provide a secure and comprehensive portal for our patients to have for their use.

Every Lifeline care center has designed their own appointment hours to be convenient for their patients. There are some care centers that do offer evening and/or weekend hours. Please visit our care center websites directly to learn about their appointment times and locations.

Yes, many of our Lifeline practices and care centers have trained staff who speak a variety of different languages. Please contact the care center of your choice directly to see how they can help you in this matter.

Lifeline providers and care centers are located throughout New Jersey, so they are affiliated with many different hospitals. Lifeline providers work closely with the top hospitals in their area to provide high quality and convenient service to our patients. It is always best to confirm directly with your Lifeline care center of choice to see which hospitals or medical centers they partner with for patient care.

Our Lifeline care centers kindly request that any scheduled appointment should be canceled within 24 hours of the arrival time. We do, however, understand that unexpected issues arise, so please call the Lifeline care center directly at your first opportunity to cancel or reschedule.

Keeping your medical records safe and confidential is of the utmost importance to Lifeline Medical Associates. We have invested in state-of-the-art technology to not only make access to your medical records secure, but also to make it convenient to share it directly with you or a physician of your authorization. Please contact your Lifeline care center directly and they will provide you with the necessary paperwork to confidently and privately send you a copy of your medical records.

Dr.B had to remove a growth she found and made me as comfortable as she could.She was kind and caring .I was nervous and fearful. She explained the aftercare I needed to do and made me my next appointment. She found me an appointment for my biopsy and procedure when I know she was so busy .especially after being on vacation the week before.I trust her and think she is an excellent Dr.who cares about her patients.

Nicole is always really kind and listens. She always gives me the information I need. This time it was about bone density. But I have had a great experience with everyone in this office over the years.

Office Visit / Follow-up

My questions were answered after having a ultrasound related to postmenapausal bleeding.. I also had a urinalysis to Check if I had UTI .. both were negative and Dr. Stephanie Marshall also did physical exam.. which revealed no answers to why I had been spotting for 6-7 days prior .. the plan going fire that is if it happens again to notify Dr. Marshall.. and for now keep my annual scheduled appointment..

Michelle Gavala was hands down the best gynecologist I’ve been to. She was extremely kind and has a very comforting presence. I felt zero judgement and she really took the time to go over every concern with me. Also, the exam was the least painful experience I’ve had in my 15+ years of going to the gynecologist.

I felt Elana cared about my issue, listened to me. She was proactive with my care. I have received the lab test results. I left the office feeling very happy with my interactions at the office. The front office staff were very responsive to my questions.
