Dr. Sun is a diplomate of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been a member of Shore Area Ob/Gyn for over 20 years. Dr. Sun did his residency at Monmouth Medical Center and is a full attending there. Dr. Sun has earned many awards for the compassionate care he gives his patients for which he is very proud. Dr. Sun is a full attending at Monmouth Medical Center and assistant professor at Drexel Medical School where he is responsible for teaching the medical students and residents. Dr. Sun has held numerous positions on the Monmouth Medical Center board rising to the position of president of the medical staff. Dr. Sun’s area of interest lies in in-office procedures such as hysteroscopies.

When not involved with his medical practice, Dr. Sun loves golfing. He is a very active and involved dad and loves joining his kids in their ice hockey endeavors.

I really loved my experience with Dr.Sun, it was my first time having him as my provider and I was immediately at ease by his friendly, professional, and knowledgeable demeanor. Even though I was only there for a routine annual exam, he took the time to sit down and talk through some concerns that I had in regards to my medication. It makes me feel like I have a provider who really cares about my health and takes my concerns seriously. The only reason why I wouldn’t give this visit a 5/5 is that the front secretary could have had better customer service or been somewhat nicer. This has been a concern of mine from prior visits as well as in interactions over the phone. I have been a patient with this office for 5 years and look forward to being a long time patient with this office as I continue to potentially expand my family. However, I hope that in the future I can have some friendly interactions with the front desk/secretary. Otherwise all the staff at this practice is incredible. From the PA who I previously visited before she moved practices to all the nurses as well. Everyone else at this practice is exceptionally friendly and caring and what makes me feel comfortable as a patient.
