Born in Massachusetts and raised in Johnstown, PA. Dr. Ham received her B.S.E. from the University of Pennsylvania in Bioengineering, where she was placed on the Dean’s List her senior year. She studied abroad in Florence, Italy. She worked for several years as a Research Engineer for a medical device company prior to attending medical school. She attended Robert Wood Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at a combined program at St. Peter’s University Hospital and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. During her training, she received Humanism and Excellence in Teaching awards. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Ham resides in Metuchen, NJ with her husband Gary, and their two lovely daughters.

My wait time was almost an hour so i was at the office for 90 minutes. I have never had an issue with that before so was surprised. I assume someone needed the Dr more than me but it really set me back for a meeting I had. I was 40 minutes late for that!

Dr Hershel was on time and courteous. However, I felt rushed during my exam- I was never asked if I had any questions or concerns. When I brought up the 2 things I wanted to talk about- Menopause and another topic- I was encouraged to make a separate appointment for menopause (which I can understand can be a bit of a conversation), my other question was barely answered. I wish the Dr spent more time with the patient

Gynecological Exams

After relocating to another state for a few years, I found Dr. Jones to be as delightful, supportive, informative, and professional as I remembered. I'm thankful to return to this OB/GYN practice. The ONLY reasons I rated my experience as satisfied and not highly satisfied are that I waited in the exam room for nearly 40 minutes, I wore an exam gown that was too small for me, and the exam room's decor could use a spruce.
