Office Visit / Follow-up

Dr. Proctor is thorough and listens attentively. I believe her caseload is heavy, and she can not spend the amount of time she would like to, with each of her patients. I've been a patient of this practive for over 15 years. I've had not so good experiences with this practice. The ONLY reason I continue to return is because of Dr. Asha Proctor. Once she retires, I will search for another practice. The receptionist was pleasant and greeted me when I walked in, which was a pleasant surprise. I've been ignored in the past. There also seems to be a lot of turnover with the nursing staff.

Bartholin Gland Cyst Evaluation / Treatment

The doctor was wonderful, however when I called the person I talked to gave me a really hard time regarding scheduling an emergent appointment. She didn’t know what a bartholin cyst was and was dismissive towards me. Told me to go to a hospital. But why do I need to go to a hospital your office should have emergent appointments for something like this. I was in excruciating pain and wasn’t given an appointment until 3. I called 6 minutes after they opened. I was totally disregarded because the person I spoke to had no idea what I even talking about. It was offensive.
