Ashley August is a board certified physician assistant who received her degree from Philadelphia University. Ms. August spent 3 years with Anesthesia Services and then moved into the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Christiana Care. She provides gynecologic and obstetric care in the office and also assists all our doctors in the operating room and on the Labor and Delivery floor. She resides in New Castle with her husband and 3 children.

Ashley is personable and professional while also being down to Earth. I feel Ivan ask/tell her anything. The staff in the reception area has greatly improved. The sour faces have been replaced with pleasant helpful staff who take pride in their work.

Once I met with the provider, she was really good. However, when I was called from the waiting room, I was asked my date of birth in the hallway which is less than confidential. Also in answering questions from the intake person, there was absolutely NO eye contact, the person was just running down a list of questions. My blood pressure was high for me and when I mentioned it to the intake person, there was no response. A little compassion goes a long way and this interaction was less then positive. When a patient is asked questions, eye contact and a response, if needed, is appreciated and takes only a couple seconds.
