Jamie graduated from Wesleyan University with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology. After graduating she worked in a laboratory at the National Institute of Health for 2 years. She then returned to school for nursing, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Pennsylvania, and continuing on to get her Masters degree in Nursing, with a concentration in Women’s Health and Nurse-Midwifery. She has been at Durham Women’s Center since 2012, and currently sees patients for gynecologic needs throughout the life span, from adolescence through menopause.

Dr Jamie is very personable and am extremely happy to have her as my doctor. I have gone to quite a few gyn's prior to using your office and now i think i have found where i will continue to stay! I didnt at any time feel my appointment was rushed. Dr Jamie made me very very comfortable and took time to listen to any questions or concerns I had!

All staff were pleasant. Jamie took the time to meet with me before I undressed which allowed me to speak with dignity. I was nervous since my last appointment was 6 years ago. Jamie reassured me that I was there now and we would move for. Since I am older, Jamie was gentle with her examination and also advised not to get upset if I am called back after mammogram since breasts change with age and normal to get called back. I absolutely love Jamie and will request her for any future visits.
