Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

Kim Schad was great but the office management is subpar. This is the third time--the person who makes appointments and reviews what services needs to take place---made a mistake. I arrived early for my appointment which was confirmed with early check in completed online the day before. When I arrived I was told I was scheduled to see a different nurse practitioner I was scheduled for and that my appointment was canceled. I was told I needed to reschedule for another day and time. I stated thatvwa unacceptable and needed to speak to the office manager since this was the third time there was an issue. However Kim Schad happened to come out of a patient's room, saw me, and confirmed she was present and my appointment. 3 other ladies in the office intervened and confirmed my appointment was correct. Prior to this I was supposed ro have an ultrasound and mammogram appointment on the same day on both breasts; and only one breast was examined based on incorrect paperwork submitted to the technicians. Consequently I had to take off of work again and come back for another appointment. Prior to that I received notice of an appointment cancelation via text 30 minutes prior to my arrival and schefuled ppointment time. When I was rescheduled weeks later when I could take off of work for a medical appointment I mentioned ro the front desk how inconvenient the last minute cancelation was and the front desk conveyed that it was a computer scheduling mistake and that my appointment could have taken place. I think the office management is disorganized, not well trained, and often makes mistakes

I think I failed to coordinate my appointment appropriately ahead of time, but the team still made sure I was able to complete my mammogram and breast ultrasound that morning in additional to my annual exam with Kim. There was some shuffling around but they made it work for me. I have had a very difficult last year and Kim was very empathic and supportive of my recent experiences.
