Lynda Sheppard, RNC, APN, trained and practiced as a registered nurse and as a registered midwife in the United Kingdom before immigrating to the United States. After 15 years as a labor and delivery nurse, she completed her advanced practice training to become a Certified Nurse Practitioner in women’s health and joined Morristown OB/GYN in 1996. She enjoys seeing women for their annual visits, especially adolescents, and plays an active role in prenatal education for our obstetric patients. She is married, has three children, and one grandchild.

Linda Sheppard is direct, respectful, and clearly concerned with a patient’s total well being. Wait time was minimal. I so appreciate that after her exam she asks you to get dressed and meet in her office, rather than doing any follow up discussion in the exam room. She is always clear in her recommendations.
