Madison (she/her) graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015 and wanted to become a nurse-midwife since nursing school. Maddie’s nursing career started in emergency medicine, where she gained a deep appreciation for critical care and community nursing. In 2018, she began working as a labor and delivery/postpartum nurse. Then she went on to graduate with a Master of Science in Nursing for Nurse-Midwifery from Texas Tech University HSC in 2021. She did her clinical rotations with Dana Schade, CNM and Karrie Marino, WHNP at Greenville OB-GYN and even had the privilege of catching some AAW babies during my rotation! Maddie is particularly passionate about health/pregnancy education, VBAC, postpartum wellness.

Maddie was born and raised in Elkton, MD. and lives there today with her husband, Glenn, two daughters, Rosie 5 years and Lulu 18 months, and dog, Mr. Peanutbutter. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, working in her yard and garden, and visiting breweries with her husband. Maddie is thrilled to be joining All About Women!!

Madison Reese listened to all my concerns and did not make me feel rushed in the appointment. After my visit with her, I was given an option to get a bloodtest done at All About Women. I usually get blood drawn elsewhere with no issues and no resulting bruises. This time was very different. It was painful during the visit after the needle was put in. I had a resulting bruise that was very large, around 2 inch by 2 inch on my left arm. 7 days after the blood draw, the bruise is still there, though healing now. I will not be doing any blood test in the facility anymore.

Birth Control Consultation

Madison Reese has a way of making you feel seen and heard. She asks the hard and awkward questions in ways in which you can be vulnerable and know that you’re not judged. She takes her time with you and you don’t feel rushed or pushed out the door so she can get to the next patient. She provided resources and information for each area of concern.

Blood Draw

As a first time mother trying not to pull over again due to morning sickness, gets to the parking lot which was completely packed, and then trying to find which building and office I was supposed to enter....I was ten minutes late. I could feel the wrath of being ten minutes late and was warned several times about the strict ten minute policy. Front Desk. I did have a great nurse take me back and hug me when I was very overwhelmed. Amazing. I had no idea what Doctor was going to come in, and honestly did not even know she would be my baby doctor??? This is a survey and I am a honest person I was already wanting to leave and go somewhere else. There is no personal feeling at all. It was like another pregnant woman is here who is up? Blood work was great, my lab tech was even better.

I really enjoyed the midwife I saw. She was kind, informative and listened to my concerns. She is the first practitioner at your practice that has asked me to get genetic testing. My previous long term obgyn told me not to, despite the generational uterus cancer that runs through my family.
