Dr. Chavez joined All About Women in 2011. She is originally from El Paso, Texas, is married, and has two children. She received her BS and MD degrees from the University of Connecticut. She completed her residency at Christiana Care, where she served as the administrative chief resident in her final year. Dr. Chavez is board certified and an ACOG fellow. She serves on Christiana’s Peer Review and Credentialing Committee.

I was taken back about 10 minutes past my appointment time, which is reasonable, by Lashay. She was very professional, pleasant and kind. Dr. Chavez took the time to answer my couple of questions and explained that I was due for a pap smear this visit.
